Former “American Idol” contestant Caleb Flynn has been photographed in prison for the first time after being convicted of murdering his wife, Ashley Flynn.
Flynn is pictured wearing a white shirt beneath a blue prison jumpsuit, standing against a yellow background. He has begun serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
He was found guilty of shooting Ashley twice in the back of the head and staging the scene to resemble a break-in. Flynn had been having an affair and told his mistress the night before the murder: “I choose you. I’m free. Actions will come tomorrow.”
His daughters criticised him in letters read during his sentencing. His older daughter, Alyssa, said she would not visit him in prison.
