Fort Worth police are investigating after an infant was found dead next to a dumpster at a motel in western Texas.
Officers were called to the Drummer’s Inn, in the 7300 block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard, at about 8.40pm on Sunday, 18 October, after a report of a deceased baby.
Detectives from the Fort Worth Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit were notified after officers arrived at the scene.
Police have released few details about the circumstances surrounding the infant’s death. No suspect information has been made public.
The investigation remains ongoing.
