Helen Mirren commanded attention on the red carpet in London on Thursday evening as she joined Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Guy Ritchie for the MobLand season two premiere.
The actress, who plays crime matriarch Maeve Harrigan in the Paramount+ drama, was among the stars attending the world premiere ahead of the series’ return later this month.
MobLand season two will premiere globally on Paramount+ on Friday, September 18, with new episodes released weekly. The 10-part series continues the violent power struggle between London crime families, with Hardy returning as fixer Harry Da Souza and Brosnan reprising his role as Maeve’s husband, Conrad Harrigan.
Created by Ronan Bennett and produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the series is executive produced by Ritchie. Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond join the returning cast as new regulars in the second season.
