Hulk Hogan’s Florida mansion has been sold for $5.9 million, more than a year after the professional wrestling star died at the property in Clearwater.
The 5,400-square-foot beachfront home was listed in January for almost $11 million. Hogan bought it in 2012 for $3.3 million.
The house has five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, including a 1,000-square-foot main suite with a sitting area, Gulf-facing terrace, morning bar, spa-style bathroom and large walk-in wardrobe.
A neighbouring guest cottage formerly owned by Hogan has also changed hands, selling for $2.8 million. It covers 2,062 square feet and contains three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
It is unclear whether the same buyer purchased both properties.
Hogan suffered a medical incident at the mansion last year and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. He was 71.
The listing was handled by Hogan’s longtime friend Martha Thorn, of the Thorn Collection and Coldwell Banker Realty.
