Jennifer Lawrence has confirmed that she had a breast lift after the birth of her second child, saying her body changed significantly following two pregnancies.
The actress discussed the procedure in an interview with The Cut, having previously spoken about her plans to undergo a breast lift after noticing the effects of motherhood.
Lawrence first described the changes to her body in a 2025 interview with The New Yorker, while discussing a nude scene in her 2023 comedy film No Hard Feelings.
“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back,” she said at the time.
She also acknowledged that her career as an actress would influence any decision to have surgery. Asked whether she would have been as keen to arrange the procedure if she were not famous, Lawrence replied: “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way. But I think yes.”
During the earlier interview, Lawrence said she avoided dermal fillers because they could be seen on camera. Asked whether she had ever had a facelift, she replied: “No, but, believe me, I’m gonna!”
In her interview with The Cut, Lawrence also spoke about wanting to look put-together while raising her children. She said she wanted to be a “sexy mom” and to have her “s**t together” when dropping them off, even after just waking up.
