Kim Kardashian has revealed that five nannies help care for her four children, with one working at a time and the others taking part in a rota.
The reality star and businesswoman, 45, shares North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven, with her former husband Kanye West.
Speaking to The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Kardashian said the support allowed her to manage the demands of family life while remaining closely involved in her children’s routines.
She said she personally takes them to and from school, eats dinner with them each evening and reads with them before bed.
“I think I am an intermediate-strict parent,” Kardashian said, describing herself as “extremely patient and loving”. She added that she still allows one of her children to sleep in her bed when they want to.
Kardashian also said her children have a say in how much they appear on the television programme The Kardashians. Her younger children may be present while she is filming, she said, but they do not usually have their own storylines.
“Each kid does what they’re comfortable with. So, my little ones come around when I’m filming but they don’t really do storylines,” she said.
