Ring camera footage has captured an Oregon mother running from her home in apparent fear after learning of the shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School.
Gretchen Miller can be seen rushing into the street and shouting that there had been a shooting. She repeatedly cries, “Oh my god” as she runs down the road.
The footage was obtained by CNN and shows Miller’s immediate reaction to news of the attack.
Sixteen-year-old Griffin J. John II is reported to have shot and killed four people, including three children, before Kaylub Giamanco shot and killed him, ending the threat.
Two of the victims have been identified as 25-year-old teacher Meghan Lambert and five-year-old pupil Rhoam Summer.
Investigators say John used a gun bought by his mother, Shauntai May Nickerson, who has insisted that her son was a good kid despite the shooting.
John had previously been a special education student at Silver Rail Elementary School.
