A shooting in Melbourne is being investigated after two young men were found seriously injured inside a home in Dallas.
Victoria Police said the 22-year-old Dallas man and a 19-year-old man from Craigieburn were discovered at the property on Kaniva Street at about 8.20am on Sunday.
Emergency services found both men with injuries believed to have possibly been caused by gunshots. An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson described their injuries as being to the upper body.
The men are believed to know each other, and police said no one else was believed to have been involved in the incident.
A Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance and Advanced Life Support paramedic crews attended the home before both men were taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital under police guard.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Anyone with information has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
