Two people, including a six-year-old boy, have been killed and 11 injured after a truck drove through a soccer game in Wichita, Kansas.
The other person killed was a 35-year-old man, Wichita Police said on Saturday. Ten of those injured suffered traumatic injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
The driver was taken into custody, although police did not provide further details or say whether they believed the incident was intentional. Two minors were also inside the truck.
Police, fire and emergency medical crews attended the scene, and authorities said there was no further threat to the public. Wichita mayor Lily Wu urged people to avoid the area while the investigation continued.
“My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, especially the children and families involved,” Ms Wu said in a Facebook post.
