Karissa Shannon has confirmed allegations that Hugh Hefner tried to force her and her twin sister, Kristina, into sexual acts with each other while they lived at the Playboy mansion.
The former Playboy Playmate said the sisters were pressured to perform for Hefner between the ages of 18 and 20, but insisted they never had sex with one another.
“He would try and force me and my sister to have sex with each other,” Karissa said in a new interview.
She said the twins instead pretended to comply with Hefner’s demands. “We faked it. We faked it every time. And it was horrible,” she said.
Karissa was responding to claims made by Crystal Hefner, Hugh Hefner’s widow, who alleged that the Playboy founder tried to push the sisters’ heads towards each other’s bodies.
Karissa said Crystal was sometimes present when Hefner attempted to make the twins engage with each other. She claimed Crystal understood that the sisters were only pretending, while Hefner did not.
“He wanted to see it and wanted us to fool around with each other and said that if we really loved each other, we would do it together,” Karissa said.
Karissa had previously described joint sexual encounters involving herself, Kristina and Hefner in the 2022 documentary series Secrets of Playboy. She called each encounter an “assault” and said it felt “like rape”.
