Zac Affleck did not film any scenes for the first season of the Orange County-based Secret Lives of Mormon Wives spin-off before Jen Affleck filed for divorce, meaning the programme will not feature his account of their marital problems.
Production sources said Zac was not involved in filming for the new reality series, which stars Jen. If the breakdown of their marriage is addressed, viewers will hear Jen’s perspective rather than his.
Jen filed for divorce from Zac in Utah on Tuesday, bringing an end to their marriage of more than seven years. She also submitted a proposed parenting plan, although its details have not been made public.
The couple have three children and Jen is pregnant with their fourth. Their relationship difficulties had previously formed a significant storyline on the Hulu reality series.
