The Humane Society of the North Bay in Vallejo has been targeted by burglars several times in recent days, with sheds damaged and equipment stolen from the animal shelter.
The break-ins have affected the organisation’s site at 1121 Sonoma Boulevard, where it provides shelter and adoption services for lost, abandoned and surrendered cats and dogs.
The Humane Society of the North Bay is an independent non-profit organisation that works with the City of Vallejo and Solano County’s animal-control services.
The repeated burglaries have left the shelter facing damage and the loss of equipment used to care for animals and maintain its facilities.
