Premier League festive fixtures for the 2026/27 season have been announced, with 29 matches set to be shown live on Sky Sports between Boxing Day and January 7.
The schedule includes seven top-flight matches on Saturday, December 26, although only two have been selected for live broadcast. Hull City’s meeting with Liverpool will begin at 5.30pm before Newcastle host Manchester City at 8pm.
A busy Super Sunday follows on December 27, when Coventry City face Chelsea at 2pm, Manchester United take on Nottingham Forest at 4.30pm and Crystal Palace meet Arsenal at 7pm.
The early release of the festive programme is intended to give supporters more than three months to organise travel during one of the busiest periods of the football calendar. The Premier League said the schedule had been drawn up following consultation with the Football Supporters’ Association and representatives from club Fan Advisory Boards.
Clubs have also been given at least 60 hours between their Christmas and New Year fixtures, in an effort to ease the demands of the compressed programme.

The first midweek round will be played across December 29 and 30, with every match available to watch live. Hull City host Leeds, Tottenham welcome Brighton and Everton face Manchester City on the Tuesday, while the following evening includes Aston Villa against Liverpool, Fulham versus Arsenal and Manchester United’s meeting with Sunderland.
Leeds’ home fixture against Everton will be shown on New Year’s Day at 8pm. Bournemouth then entertain Aston Villa on January 2, before Chelsea play Newcastle and Manchester City host Tottenham in the Sunday double header on January 3.
The second midweek block runs from January 5 to 7. Arsenal face Brentford, Everton meet Aston Villa and Sunderland play Liverpool on the opening night, while Crystal Palace against Chelsea, Fulham versus Tottenham and Leeds against Manchester City feature on January 6. Manchester United’s home match against Newcastle completes the televised festive schedule at 8pm on January 7.
The 29-match selection also includes a number of high-profile meetings involving the leading clubs, including Liverpool’s trips to Hull City and Aston Villa, Arsenal’s away games at Crystal Palace and Fulham, and Manchester City’s visits to Newcastle, Everton and Leeds.
As with all Premier League fixtures, the dates and kick-off times remain subject to change because of domestic cup commitments, European competition and further television scheduling. The league is due to announce its November and early-December broadcast selections before October 19.
