Filming has wrapped on Shrinking season four, with the Emmy Award-nominated Apple TV comedy set to return with a mixture of new and returning cast members.
The series follows a grieving therapist who begins breaking professional rules by telling his clients exactly what he thinks, setting off major changes in their lives – and his own.

The new episodes will introduce a significant shift in the story through a time jump. However, creator Bill Lawrence has said the series will retain its established characters while exploring a new chapter in their lives.
Speaking at a PaleyFest panel, Lawrence said: “I think people will feel when they come back to this show, that it’s a completely different story. And the reason we agreed to do it was that we feel that the cast and characters of this show have enough stuff going on in their life that we are interested in seeing what a new story for these characters looks like.”
With production complete, attention now turns to the fourth-season line-up. New performers will join the returning stars, although further cast details were not provided in the information available.
