A Sterling Heights man has been arrested after allegedly exposing himself to a woman and trying to open her car door at Waterford Oaks County Park in Michigan.
Kyle Teschler, 46, is accused of approaching the 40-year-old woman on 10 September while she was sitting in her vehicle. Waterford Police said he backed his SUV into the space beside her before getting out with his trousers around his knees.
The woman told officers that Teschler was allegedly touching himself before opening her car door. Fearing she was about to be attacked, she pushed him away, closed the door and locked it.
Police said the man then returned to his SUV and drove away. The woman was able to provide officers with a description and the vehicle’s registration number.
Investigators used Flock camera footage to trace the SUV and arrested Teschler at his home in Sterling Heights within 90 minutes of the alleged assault.
Officers later found duct tape, rope and zip ties inside the vehicle, according to Waterford Police.
Teschler has been charged with assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct and aggravated indecent exposure. The allegations have not been tested in court.
