A Mexico City Tesla crash was captured on camera as a Model Y broke through a home before plunging from the building and disappearing from view.
The collision happened on October 19, with footage of the incident now circulating widely. It shows the electric car striking the property’s gate, crossing the terrace and smashing through the rear wall.
The Tesla then went over the edge of the building. It eventually came to a stop at a lower level on the opposite side of the street.
Authorities have not established why the vehicle veered so far off course. It remains unclear whether a mechanical fault or another factor was responsible.
The car sustained extensive damage, particularly to its front end. The condition of anyone involved in the crash has not been disclosed.
