An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Texas has been indicted on a felony charge after allegedly hitting a man with a vehicle earlier this month.
Mario Alberto Morales was indicted by a grand jury on one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare announced.
The charge relates to an incident involving Miguel Parra Hernandez, who was left with a broken leg following an ICE action.
If convicted, Morales faces a prison sentence of between two and 20 years, Mr Teare said.
