Tom Welling made his first public appearance since accidentally sharing a private photograph as he reunited with his Smallville co-stars at New York Comic Con.
The 49-year-old actor appeared at the Javits Center in New York City on Saturday for the “Road to Superman: 25 Years of Smallville” panel.
Welling was joined by Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor, Kristin Kreuk, who portrayed Lana Lang, and Erica Durance, who played Lois Lane.
The reunion came hours after Welling mistakenly posted a revealing image on his Instagram story. He had intended to share a photograph of the New York skyline from his hotel room, but his reflection was also visible in the window.
The image was reportedly available for at least ten hours before being removed, although it subsequently circulated widely online.

During the panel, Welling also recalled an earlier incident involving his co-star John Glover, who played Lionel Luthor in the series.
Welling said Glover once entered his make-up trailer carrying a photograph and asked him to sign it. The actor said the image was one “from the internet that somebody had made of me completely naked”.
Welling said Glover then asked whether the photograph was genuine. “He thought it was so cute,” Welling recalled. “He’s like, ‘Is this really you?’ I’m like, ‘Yep.’ And I signed it for him.”
