Donald Trump is deploying 2,000 US Marines to the Middle East as a supertanker has been struck in the Strait of Hormuz, according to the latest developments in the Iran war.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran “has never avoided” dialogue with the US, despite saying Iran had been attacked three times during negotiations.
The remarks came as tensions continued to mount in the region, with the movement of US Marines and the reported tanker strike forming the central developments.
