Marvel’s VisionQuest series has premiered, with the first two episodes released a day earlier than scheduled on 13 October. The eight-part television series follows Vision and completes a trilogy that began with WandaVision and Agatha All Along.
Vision first appeared on screen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In the new series, he has been rebooted and is hiding after escaping those who wanted to weaponise him.
What happens in VisionQuest?
Searching for a new purpose, Vision turns to the artificial intelligence personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron.
His attempt to remain out of sight is disrupted when a bounty is placed on his head. He is forced to go on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s reincarnated son.
As he tries to evade capture, Vision must confront his own nature, resist Ultron’s influence and uncover the truth about his young companion.
VisionQuest episode release schedule
The remaining episodes will be released in blocks of two over the next couple of weeks, with the final two episodes following in the weeks after that.
The series features familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside several new cast members.
