Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw are to leave Australian Radio Network’s KIIS Network at the end of 2026, after the broadcaster confirmed a shake-up of its national drive-time line-up.
The pair, known on air as Will & Woody, will not return when ARN adopts a “refreshed approach” to national drive programming in 2027. The network said it was working on a new line-up for KIIS.
McMahon and Whitelaw joined KIIS in 2018 and have since become one of Australian radio’s best-known presenting partnerships. Their weekday programme has been broadcast across the network, with ARN previously reporting a weekly audience of more than 1.6 million people.
Kerri Elstub, ARN’s chief content officer, said the presenters had made a “huge contribution” during their time with the network and praised their “unique energy, humour and personality”.
She said the pair would continue broadcasting until the end of the year, adding that ARN looked forward to giving them a send-off and celebrating their contribution.
McMahon and Whitelaw said they were “devastated” not to be continuing with the programme in 2027 and thanked listeners for making the show what it was.
“We are also incredibly grateful to ARN for allowing us to live out our dream for the last eight years,” they said, joking that they would now have to work out how to create LinkedIn profiles.
