Alan Jones’ criminal trial has entered its third complainant’s evidence, with a former athlete known as “M” due to testify at the Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney.
Jones, 85, is facing 20 counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual touching without consent involving six male complainants over a 17-year period from 2003 to 2020. He denies that the alleged physical acts took place.
“M” alleges that Jones kissed him without consent on the corner of his mouth on two occasions. He also alleges that Jones pressed his body against his upper thigh during one of the incidents.
The complainant has chosen to give evidence from the witness box in the courtroom, rather than from a separate room. Reporters are observing his testimony from another location within the court building.
Two other complainants, identified in court as “J” and “C”, have already completed their evidence.
