After the capsule entered orbit, SpaceX mission control told them: “Dragon separation confirmed. Jessica, Luke, Josh, Sergey,…

He was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 6.10am, police said. The 50-year-old was later released on bail after appearing by video link at a Miami-Dade bond hearing. His bond was set at $5,000 in total: $4,000 for the felony strangulation…
A new documentary has brought fresh scrutiny to the alleged scale of Iran’s crackdown on protesters, with doctors estimating that as many as 30,000 people were killed during two days of violence in January. The claims are examined by Daily Mail reporters Natalie Lisbona and Andrew Jehring in the latest episode of the Deep Dive podcast, following the release of This Is Our Story by the London-based Iranian opposition broadcaster Manoto. The four-part documentary has been assembled from thousands of videos allegedly smuggled out of Iran by people who risked their lives to record the unrest. It focuses on the…
Donald Trump’s approval rating on the US economy has fallen to a new low, while 65% of Americans blame his policies more than outside factors for persistently high prices, according to an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll. Just 26% of adults approve of the Republican president’s handling of the economy, down 14 percentage points from March 2025. Only 17% approve of his performance on the cost of living. The findings come weeks before the midterm elections, which will determine whether Republicans retain control of Congress. Trump is due to campaign with an extensive schedule of rallies and…
Rick Ross was told he would be treated like any other defendant during a Miami court appearance after his lawyer asked whether his release from jail could be expedited because of the rapper’s fame and safety concerns. Ross, whose real name is William Roberts II, appeared before Judge Mindy Glazer following his arrest on battery charges. His attorney, Bradley Horenstein, raised the issue of his celebrity status during the hearing. Judge Glazer rejected the argument, telling Ross: “I have no idea who you are.” She added that he would be treated fairly “just like everybody else here.” Rick Ross faces…
Donald Trump has ordered federal agencies to launch a technology-led campaign against invasive ticks and mosquitoes in Washington DC, with the aim of cutting mosquito numbers by 90 per cent and tick populations by half by 2028. The executive order, signed on September 29, directs the departments of the Interior and Agriculture, the Environmental Protection Agency and the General Services Administration to draw up a plan within 60 days, in consultation with the Department of Health and Human Services and the DC authorities. The campaign will focus on federal land across the US capital, including measures to remove breeding grounds…

David Sullivan is suing the BBC for £150 million over a Panorama documentary that accused him of preying on and abusing young women. The West Ham United shareholder is seeking aggravated damages in a case understood to be being filed after the broadcast of Predator: The Billionaire Football Boss on 8 June. Mr Sullivan, 77, stepped down as the club’s chairman shortly before the programme aired, saying he would devote his attention to fighting what he described as false allegations. He remains West Ham’s largest shareholder and is expected to increase his stake from 38.8 per cent to 40 per…
Halluminate, a nine-person San Francisco start-up developing AI training environments for financial work, has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by Oak HC/FT. Wendy Williams has been spotted out in New York City, appearing in good health during a rare public appearance in Manhattan. The former talk show host was seen on a night out wearing a blue-and-gold multi-coloured jacket with short white shorts.
