A separate lawsuit names ICE officer Jonathan Ross, who shot Ms Good, along with White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, former Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem and others. That…
Britain has held urgent discussions with European governments over the possible release of emergency diesel reserves after Donald Trump threatened to restrict US exports. The talks follow a warning from the Trump administration that France and Germany should draw on their emergency inventories or face a potential American export ban. The move would intensify pressure on European countries as the US President considers measures to reduce domestic…

An Ohio woman is suing Selby General Hospital after surgeons allegedly amputated her left leg instead of the cancerous right leg they were meant to remove, leaving her a double amputee. Sharon Jacks, 74, had been due to undergo a below-the-knee amputation at the hospital in Marietta on 19 September 2025. Her lawsuit alleges that the surgical team removed her left leg, despite the right leg having been identified as the operative site. Doctors later amputated Jacks’ right leg at another Ohio hospital, about four months after the first operation. The lawsuit, filed this month in Washington County Common Pleas…
Qantas and Virgin Australia are reportedly pressing for a passenger levy to help meet the higher cost of sustainable aviation fuel, a move that could increase air fares for travellers. The Australian federal government wants airlines to use low-carbon fuel made from agricultural by-products and waste, including used cooking oil. That increase could reach between five and 10 dollars by 2040. Graham Turner, chief executive of Flight…
