Chelsea and Arsenal are monitoring Inter Milan midfielder Andy Diouf as interest grows in the 23-year-old France international.
Diouf has strengthened his reputation since joining Inter from Lens in August 2025, while his recent performances for France have further increased attention around him.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also understood to be following the midfielder, although Inter are in a strong negotiating position and have no intention of losing him midway through the season.
Chelsea and Arsenal track versatile Inter midfielder
Diouf is valued at about €30 million, but that figure is not expected to be enough to persuade Inter to consider a sale. His contract runs until June 2030, and the Italian club are thought to want between €50 million and €60 million before entering serious discussions.
A January transfer therefore appears unlikely, with Inter having little reason to part with a player tied to the club for the long term.
The midfielder’s versatility is a key part of his appeal. He can play in central midfield, operate as a wing-back or fill in at full-back, offering tactical flexibility to clubs assessing their options.
Chelsea’s interest is consistent with their preference for young, athletic players capable of covering several roles. Diouf’s ability to carry the ball and cover ground would give their midfield an additional dimension.
Arsenal, meanwhile, could view him as a player able to compete for places in central midfield and on the left side. Mikel Arteta values players who can change position during matches, making Diouf an attractive option for the Premier League club.
Inter head coach Cristian Chivu has previously praised Diouf’s “carefree attitude and personality in one-on-one situations”. Should the midfielder continue to progress for club and country, Chelsea and Arsenal may have to decide whether their interest should develop into a formal approach.
