Western Australia Premier Roger Cook has pledged to keep attracting major sporting and entertainment events to the state after government figures showed they contributed more than $220 million to the economy in 2025.
Mr Cook said the government would continue pursuing big events as part of its focus on bringing sporting and entertainment spectacles to WA.
The figures indicate the events generated an economic injection of more than $220 million during the year.
