A father grieving the presumed deaths of his six children wants self-proclaimed pastor Paul Mackenzie “locked away for life” over his role in the Shakahola Forest cult.
Stephen Mwiti Joseph’s children are believed to have died after his wife abducted them to follow Mackenzie into the Kenyan forest.
A court found Mackenzie guilty of murdering 191 people. His cult has been alleged to have forced children to starve themselves so they could “meet Jesus”.
Joseph is seeking life imprisonment for the pastor as he mourns the loss of his children.
