Emergency crews launched a multi-agency search for a missing person near Lake Park in Lewisville, Texas, on Saturday afternoon, 12 September.
The operation is being led by the Lewisville Fire Department, with support from Lewisville Police, Texas Game Wardens and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Teams have been deployed across the water, shoreline and surrounding inland areas. Rescue boats fitted with sonar are carrying out grid searches, while water drones are examining shallow access points and unmanned aircraft are conducting aerial reconnaissance.
Authorities have urged members of the public to stay away from the Lake Park area while the search continues.
They said keeping roads, boat ramps and park entrances clear would allow emergency personnel and dive teams to work safely and without obstruction.
Further information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
