Keisha Lance Bottoms has won the Georgia governor’s race, becoming the first Black woman to serve as governor.
The former Atlanta mayor was named the winner on Tuesday after defeating Republican billionaire Rick Jackson.
Jackson said he had spent more than 200 million US dollars of his own money on the campaign.
