Kim Kardashian appeared to put her awkward exchange with Sky Sports F1 reporter Martin Brundle behind her during a more amicable grid-walk interview at the Singapore Grand Prix.
The reality star encountered Brundle months after their much-discussed meeting at the Monaco Grand Prix, when she appeared not to respond as he introduced himself and asked whether she was enjoying the race.
This time, Kardashian acknowledged the earlier incident as Brundle approached her. She jokingly asked: “Did I not know the rules, did we get off on the wrong foot?” Brundle laughed and continued with the interview.
The pair went on to discuss Formula 1, with Kardashian describing the sport as “amazing and wild” and saying it was something she had never experienced before.
She was also asked about her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, who is competing for Ferrari. Kardashian said she was praying for the best and felt confident in him.
The Monaco encounter had quickly attracted attention online, with some fans branding Kardashian rude while others suggested she may not have heard Brundle amid the commotion.
Her latest appearance in Singapore was notably different, with Kardashian willing to speak to the veteran broadcaster on camera and engage in a conversation about the sport.
Kardashian is in Singapore supporting Hamilton and has increasingly been seen in the Formula 1 paddock cheering him on as the couple’s romance has made headlines this year.
