A man has died after being shot on Detroit’s west side in the early hours of Thursday, November 5.
Detroit police were called to the 5300 block of Vancouver Street, near Ironwood Street and about two blocks west of Interstate 96, shortly before 12.30am.
Officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and unresponsive. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
The shooting happened in Detroit’s Midwest neighbourhood. Police have not released the man’s identity.
The circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting remain under investigation, and no suspect details have been made public.
