Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham put on a united display at the Deauville Film Festival on Tuesday, sharing a kiss on the red carpet as they joined the celebrations for Faye Dunaway.
The couple arrived in France after appearing in Venice, where Peltz had been recognised with a Rising Star award at the Kineo Awards over the weekend.
Peltz, 31, wore an elegant white frilled gown for the occasion, while Brooklyn, 27, stood close beside her as photographers captured them smiling and embracing.
The actress was also pictured alongside Dunaway, who received the Deauville Icon Award at the 52nd American Film Festival in Deauville on Tuesday, September 8. The festival said the honour recognised a career spanning more than five decades. Dunaway, 85, opted for a black trouser suit as she posed with her Prima co-star. The pair were reunited at the event after appearing together in Venice, where Dunaway was also honoured for her contribution to cinema.
The veteran actress is due to appear alongside Peltz in Prima, an independent drama directed by Alessandro and Luca Morelli. The Deauville festival confirmed that Peltz would attend the event in connection with the film. Peltz received the Rising Star award for her work as an actress, producer and filmmaker at the Venice ceremony. Her parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, and her brother Bradley were among those there to support her, along with Brooklyn.
Accepting the award, she said: “I am normally more comfortable playing a character as an actor than standing in front of an audience, so please bear with me.”
She added: “To receive an award at the Venice Film Festival is something I will carry with me for the rest of my career.”
Peltz also paid tribute to Dunaway, telling her: “You have always been an inspiration to me and learning with you has been incredible.”
She went on to thank her family and Brooklyn, saying: “You always believe in me. To have your support is the reason I can reach to the stars in the first place.”
The appearance in Deauville came amid continued public interest in the couple, who married in April 2022. Brooklyn has recently defended his wife online after an Instagram user commented on her appearance.
Replying to the comment, he wrote: “Don’t ever talk about my wife. She’s absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body. It’s disgraceful.”
