Democrats pushed for a second candidate named Dan Sullivan to run for the Senate in Alaska, according to a report by The New York Times.
The effort allegedly involved the campaign of Democratic nominee Mary Peltola, the report said. The move would have placed a candidate with the same name as Republican incumbent Dan Sullivan on the ballot.
CBS News correspondent Ed O’Keefe reported on the claims.
