Police in Atlanta are searching for a man accused of opening fire at a woman’s car after a minor crash in the city’s south-west.
The incident happened at about 9.30pm on 27 September near the 900 block of Oakland Drive SW, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Investigators said the woman had reversed into the suspect’s vehicle. The pair got out and spoke about the collision, but police allege the man became aggressive, shouted slurs and threatened her.
As the woman returned to her car and began driving away, the suspect allegedly drew a handgun and fired towards her. A bullet struck the vehicle.
No physical injuries to the woman have been reported.
