Richard Simmons’ Hollywood Hills home has sold for $3,827,500, bringing an end to a lengthy and difficult period on the market for the Los Angeles mansion.
The gated four-bedroom, five-bathroom property, which sits above the Sunset Strip, was previously listed for about $7 million in June 2025.
The sale follows two failed attempts to secure a buyer. The estate first entered escrow at $5.889 million, but that deal collapsed in December. Its asking price was later reduced to $5.799 million before another buyer went under contract in May.
The buyer is not a public figure, but is understood to have plans to restore the property. Rachelle Rosten, who represented the listing with Kelly deLaat of Douglas Elliman, said: “The perfect buyer found this home. Drawn to its rich history, heritage, and pedigree, he plans to restore it to its classic roots.”
Paul Czako of Gussman Czako Estates represented the buyer.
The home includes a swimming pool, motor court and formal entryway. Simmons lived there for decades before his death in July 2024.
