Sean “Diddy” Combs’ prison release date has been brought forward by more than three weeks, with the federal Bureau of Prisons now listing February 6, 2028 as his projected release date.
The latest date replaces March 2, 2028, which had been given as his expected release date last month. His projected release date has previously shifted between January 21, February 5 and February 20.
The change follows Combs’ transfer from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania.
While at Fort Dix, Combs was placed in solitary confinement over allegations that he had violated prison rules by becoming involved in fights and using contraband mobile phones.
NBC News also reported that Combs received preferential treatment at Fort Dix, allegedly paying other inmates to provide massages, prepare meals and carry out chores. The claims were presented as allegations.
Combs was found guilty by a trial jury in 2025 on two counts under the Mann Act, relating to transporting people across state lines for prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
A judge sentenced him to 50 months in federal prison on the lesser charges.
