Selma Blair appeared at 90s Con in Connecticut after being arrested over alleged assaults during a flight to New York, including claims involving two flight attendants, a police officer and a nurse.
The actress attended the event at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford on Friday, where she was photographed smiling and embracing actor Brad Deiter.
Mr Deiter later shared the photograph on Instagram. Blair’s appearance came less than a week after the alleged incident aboard a Delta flight travelling from Los Angeles to John F Kennedy Airport.
Police allege that Blair assaulted two flight attendants during the journey, biting one of them. After the plane landed, she was arrested and taken by ambulance to hospital for evaluation.
During the journey to hospital, Blair allegedly kicked a police officer in the head several times. Authorities allege that she then assaulted a nurse after arriving at the hospital.
The FBI issued Blair with a federal summons over the alleged attacks on the flight attendants, as the incident took place in federal airspace. New York State authorities also charged her with two counts of felony assault relating to the nurse and the police officer.
Blair has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
