T.I. has been named grand marshal for Tuskegee University’s homecoming and will also perform during half-time at the event’s football game on November 7.
The Atlanta rapper will lead the homecoming parade before joining the Marching Crimson Pipers on the field for the fixture against Miles College.
The occasion will also feature a performance from T.I.’s youngest daughter, Heiress Harris, who is due to sing the national anthem.
T.I. has an existing connection with Tuskegee University. Earlier this year, he featured the university’s band in the music video for “Trauma Bond”.
The track samples the band’s signature piece, “Ball N’ Parlay”, and appears on T.I.’s final album, “Kill the King”.
