Asia Kate Dillon is looking for customer service jobs, saying acting work has declined to the point that they are seeking full-time or part-time employment.
Dillon, who appeared in John Wick 3, Billions and Orange Is the New Black, said acting had been their sole source of financial support for the past 11 years.
In a post on Instagram, they said: “Now, like for many, many performer colleagues of mine – particularly those of us who are trans/nonbinary/gender nonconforming – acting work has all but diminished, and I’m in need of service work once more.”
Dillon said they had previous experience in the food and customer service industries, having worked in roles including dishwasher, food runner and floor manager.
They added that they were available for part-time work, as well as night and weekend shifts.
“I love customer service. I love creating welcoming environments for people to relax in and connect with each other. I love food and drink. I am passionate and curious, and a great teammate,” Dillon said.
