Fremantle have been given permission to use their Wharfie Time activation during Saturday’s AFL grand final against the Brisbane Lions, after reaching an agreement with the league. The Dockers had been negotiating with the AFL over the activation, with the terms settled on Wednesday. It can be played only after a Fremantle goal. The arrangement gives Fremantle the same freedom as both teams have to use a goal song, but Wharfie Time will be available just once during the match. The Dockers will therefore have to decide when to deploy it and which player’s goal will prompt its use. The…

Milwaukee weather forecast Wednesday night will be partly cloudy, with temperatures dropping…

Police believe Mr Macdonald was mistaken for someone else when he was attacked on Bruce Street at about 3.15pm on September 2. CCTV allegedly shows a car stopping outside the property before a gunman fired several shots through its rear window. Two…
A former Victorian boxing champion who spent years challenging a murder conviction has been named in court documents as the alleged head of a multi-million-dollar illicit tobacco network. Prosecutors allege the network generated more than $10 million in proceeds of crime. The 2027 GWM Cannon Alpha dual-cab ute has gained a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, with the manufacturer’s latest offering promising class-leading torque and fuel economy. The engine upgrade puts the focus on how the Cannon Alpha performs on the road, rather than simply its headline figures. The central question is whether the larger diesel delivers a noticeable improvement in the ute’s driving experience. The GWM Cannon Alpha’s combination of a dual-cab body and turbo-diesel power places it in a highly competitive part of the ute market, where torque, efficiency and everyday drivability are key considerations.
