David and Victoria Beckham showed their support for their youngest son Cruz as he performed at Reading Festival with his band, The Breakers.
The couple watched from the side of the stage during the group’s appearance on Saturday, August 29, with footage showing David smiling as Victoria stood beside him.
Cruz and The Breakers played a half-hour set on the festival’s new Canopy stage at Little John’s Farm. Their appearance was listed on the official Reading Festival programme.
The performance marked Cruz’s debut at the major Berkshire festival, where he appeared alongside a line-up including Charli XCX, Dave, Raye and Florence + The Machine.
His siblings Harper and Romeo Beckham were also reported to have attended the show, with Harper joining Cruz on stage during the set to help throw T-shirts into the crowd.
After the performance, Cruz was greeted backstage by his parents, who praised the show. David told him it had been “amazing” and congratulated him, while Victoria said she was proud of him and complimented his outfit.
Cruz later described the reception from the Reading audience as the best the band had experienced, saying he was “absolutely buzzing” after the rain-soaked performance.
