Anson Williams has been ordered to pay his former wife more than 40,000 US dollars over unpaid obligations arising from their divorce, with a further 7,500 dollars awarded directly to her lawyer.
The order requires the “Happy Days” actor to pay Jackie Williams 40,181.04 dollars by 5pm on November 2. Including the legal fees, the total comes to nearly 48,000 dollars.
The sum includes almost 18,000 dollars in life insurance premiums, about 17,000 dollars relating to the unauthorised use of company funds and a further 2,000 dollars in payments allegedly made to himself.
The judge also directed Anson Williams to transfer 160,214 American Express rewards points to Jackie.
The ruling followed a hearing on October 1, which the court documents say Anson did not attend. They also state that he did not file a response to Jackie’s claims.
Jackie brought the matter back to court in August, alleging that Anson had failed to make payments required under their divorce agreement and had ignored her attempts to recover the money.
The couple divorced in 2020 after 30 years together.
