Céline Dion appeared in high spirits as she returned to her Paris hotel on Tuesday evening, just days before beginning her long-awaited stage comeback in the French capital.
The Canadian singer is preparing for her Celine Dion Paris 2026 residency at the Plenitude Arena, formerly known as Paris La Défense Arena. The opening concert is scheduled for Saturday, September 12.
Dion will perform 16 shows in Paris between September 12 and October 17, with a further ten dates planned for May 2027, according to the official concert website.
The residency will feature songs from across her career in both English and French. It marks her return to a major run of live performances after stepping back from touring following her diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome.
Dion, 58, made a celebrated appearance at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony, where she performed Hymne à l’amour from the Eiffel Tower.
