Jennifer Lopez turned heads in New York City on Wednesday night after stepping out for dinner in a striking red dress with her long-time manager, Benny Medina.
The singer and actress chose a figure-hugging, ankle-length design with a plunging neckline for her meal at Mediterranean restaurant Or’esh in the West Village.
She completed the look with neutral-toned slip-on heels and a matching handbag, while keeping her jewellery understated and opting not to wear a necklace.
Lopez’s appearance came after she was seen dining in the city with one of her 18-year-old twins, as the family prepares for a significant change with both children due to begin college this autumn.
She previously told Extra that both twins had been accepted by all five colleges to which they applied, with each receiving a scholarship. “I am so proud that they set goals for themselves,” she said.
The star has also spoken about the emotions surrounding the pair leaving home, describing the prospect of becoming an empty nester as difficult after years of family life centred around the three of them.
“It’s been the three of us,” Lopez told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in June. “They’ve always been there, and I’ve always been there.”
Before the start of the new academic year, Lopez took her children on a family trip to Italy, sharing photographs from visits to Rome and Milan, as well as meals, shopping trips and a gondola ride.
Lopez is also due to appear in the forthcoming Netflix film The Last Mrs Parrish, which is expected to be released in late 2026 or early 2027.
