Joe Keery has revealed that the Stranger Things cast still keeps in touch through a group chat, despite moving on to other projects since the series ended.
Keery, who played Steve Harrington in the Netflix series, said Finn Wolfhard may be the most active member of the cast’s text conversation.
Speaking to People at the opening night of his Broadway play, Other Desert Cities, the 34-year-old actor was asked who uses the group chat most.
“Oh, man, maybe Finn [Wolfhard], I guess maybe, yeah, we’re keeping in touch,” Keery said.

Keery also revealed that Sadie Sink offered him advice before his Broadway debut. Sink, who has appeared in three shows including Annie and John Proctor is the Villain, met Keery in London before beginning Romeo & Juliet on the West End.
“I saw her before Romeo & Juliet opened when I was across the pond, and she had some good words of advice and really kind of urged me to do [theater too]. She thought I would have a nice time,” he said.
Keery added that he had also been texting Gaten Matarazzo following the opening of Rent, saying: “Yeah, he’s killing it over there.”
