Married At First Sight UK star Holly Ditchfield has announced that her premature twin sons, Georgie and Marley, have died nine days after they were born.
The boys were delivered on August 26 at 23 weeks and five days, almost four months before their due date. Georgie weighed 1lb 1oz, while Marley weighed 1lb 2oz.
Ditchfield shared the news on Instagram, saying Georgie died on September 3 and Marley died in the early hours of September 4. She said both boys passed away in her and partner Aaron Summers’s arms.
The reality star had previously described her sons as “little fighters” after they were admitted to a neonatal intensive care unit following their birth.
In her latest post, Ditchfield said the nine days with her children had been the most heartbreaking and precious of her life. She also asked for privacy as she and Summers come to terms with the loss.
Ditchfield, who is from Huddersfield, appeared on the 2024 series of Married At First Sight UK, where she was paired with Alex Henry.
