Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper have filmed a passionate kiss for the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven prequel on the French Riviera.
The scene was shot on a hotel balcony overlooking Villefranche-sur-Mer, where the pair are portraying the parents of Danny Ocean in a story set around the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.
Robbie, 36, wore a white and turquoise halterneck midi-dress and a hairstyle inspired by the 1960s. Cooper, 51, appeared in a white vest top as he leaned in for the kiss.
Tourists who saw the filming from a nearby apartment said the area had been transformed to resemble the period in which the film is set.
“We were staying in an apartment; we popped out onto the balcony and saw them,” they said.
“The whole town has been transformed back to the 1960s. They are doing a lot of the filming in the south of France.
“It was rather strange to see them; suddenly I looked out, and they appeared on the balcony snogging.”

Monica Barbaro, Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, Jack Holden, Lauren Ridloff, Omar Sy, Wagner Moura and Josh Gad have also been attached to the project.
Robbie has been linked with the film since 2022, when it was reported that her Barbie co-star Ryan Gosling would also be involved. It remains unclear whether he will appear in the finished film.
Producer Josey McNamara previously said the filmmakers were “just trying to do right by the franchise”, adding: “I’m excited for people to experience it when it’s ready.”
Robbie has been married to film producer Tom Ackerley since 2016, and they have a two-year-old daughter. Cooper is in a relationship with supermodel Gigi Hadid.
The Ocean’s series began with the 2001 film starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Matt Damon, followed by Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen.
A female-led spin-off, Ocean’s Eight, was released in 2018 and featured Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway. The films were inspired by the 1960 movie of the same name, which starred Rat Pack performers Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin.
