The Curious Caterer movie series is returning to Hallmark Channel, with Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker set to begin filming the sixth instalment after the 2026 Hallmark Christmas Cruise.
The announcement was made during a behind-the-scenes panel on board the cruise, hosted by People’s Breanne Heldman. DeLoach told the audience: “When we get off this ship, we’re going to shoot another Curious Caterer.”
Five films have been released in the Hallmark mystery franchise so far. The new instalment is due to air in 2027, more than two years after the previous film.
DeLoach credited viewers who had repeatedly called for the pair to reunite on screen, saying fans had pushed for another film through Facebook and Instagram.
“We have to say, you guys are the reason this is happening,” she said. “Also, I was very annoying to [Hallmark executives] Randy Pope and Michelle Vicary about it for about a year, but you guys are the reason.”
Walker said fans had also raised the prospect of another film when meeting the actors at conventions and other events.
“The amount of people that came over to us at these conventions, these events and 80% of the people would come over and say, ‘When are you guys going to work together again? When are you going to do another Curious Caterer?’” he said.
He added: “We’re so excited.” Walker also teased the new film by saying it would feature “a lot of murders, a lot of cooking, a little bit of curiosity”.
