Premier Roger Cook has called on Immigration Minister Tony Burke to reconsider proposed changes to working holiday visas that would cap the number of backpackers.
Mr Cook said the backpacker visa cap could be bad for business, and urged Mr Burke to review the planned changes.
The proposal would place a limit on backpacker numbers under the working holiday visa arrangements.
