Robert Pattinson is reported to have screen-tested for the role of James Bond, joining a shortlist that includes Callum Turner, Jack Lowden and Josh O’Connor.
The actor is said to have taken part in the audition on October 24, alongside the other reported 007 contenders. The claim has not been confirmed by Amazon MGM Studios.
Pattinson’s potential involvement comes after he worked with the next Bond director, Denis Villeneuve, on the upcoming third film in the Dune series, which also stars Zendaya.
Nicholas Hoult has also reportedly tested for the iconic role. Hoult previously lost out to Pattinson in the casting for Batman.
Casting for the next James Bond film is understood to have begun in May, with a decision expected after the latest round of screen tests. Amazon MGM Studios has been approached for comment but has not yet responded.
